An interview with Bryony Thomas, author of Watertight Marketing, on crowdfunding the publication of her 5-star business book, recently described as ‘The Entrepreneur’s Essential Marketing Guidebook’.

Hi Bryony, lovely to talk to you. Would you be able to give us a bit of background on Watertight Marketing. Why did you write the book?

I’ve worked in marketing for the last 16 years, starting out agency-side for the likes of Microsoft, Dell et al and then client-side as director of marketing for Experian’s integrated marketing division. Driven by passion that any entrepreneur will recognise I set up on my own in 2008 and focussed wholly on ambitious small businesses. Across all these different businesses (hundreds of them), I am yet to encounter a single one that isn’t leaking profit…
